In the previous level, Yuri Dzivielevski raised to 800,000 from the cutoff and Michael Liang defended the big blind after confirming the stack of his opponent.
The flop then came J♦7♠A♦ and Liang checked to Dzivielevski, who put out a bet of 450,000. Liang then sneakily check-raised to 1,100,000 and Dzivielevski made the call.
On the 5♣ turn, Liang shoved all in, covering Dzivielevski's 3,950,000 remaining chips. Dzivielevski snap called and both players' holdings were revealed.
Yuri Dzivielevski: A♣5♥
Michael Liang: J♣7♣.
Liang had flopped two pair, but Dzivielevski turned a higher two pair. The 10♥ river did nothing for either player's hand and Dzivielevski doubled up to an eight-figure stack, nearly half of the chips in play.
